About
A Section 8 company, born to commercialise ideas.
KR-SIIF was incorporated on 31 October 2023 as a Section 8 not-for-profit, formalising what KRCT's Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC-KRCT, inaugurated 29 January 2014) had been doing for nearly a decade — bridging the gap between industry and academia. In 2024, the institute was recognised as an MSME Host Institute — bringing structured grant pipelines and product-development infrastructure to student founders.

At KR-SIIF, we are dedicated to developing an entrepreneurial culture — the foundation of our operations. We cultivate adaptability, entrepreneurial spirit and innovation among our students and entrepreneurs. For years our institution has inspired emerging founders, giving them the expertise, tools and mentorship to navigate the intricacies of the contemporary business environment.
