The Department of Physical Education trains and fields KRCT's teams across the Anna University Zone 14 calendar — from athletics and the major team sports to chess, judo and weight-lifting. In 2025–26 the department guided KRCT to two zonal titles and fourteen podium finishes, with several athletes advancing to inter-zone and All India Inter-University meets.
