The KRCT Story
A rural promise. A national impact.
K.Ramakrishnan College of Technology was founded in 2010 with one ambition: to transform a quiet stretch of rural Tamil Nadu — Samayapuram, on the outskirts of Trichy — into a hub for engineering talent. Fifteen years on, that promise has been kept.
Today KRCT is an autonomous institution affiliated to Anna University, Chennai & approved by AICTE — accredited NAAC A+, NBA-recognised across multiple programs, ISO 14001:2015 certified, and recognised as the Trichy zone's only TNSCST-sponsored IPR Cell. Our 9 departments graduate 800+ engineers a year.

A dynamic leader who founded this institution with a vision to develop the rural Samayapuram region into a hub of engineers — Dr. Ramakrishnan was a champion of TIES during his college days at Annamalai University.
In 2006, he was selected as one of three eminent personalities on the Anna University study team that visited Canadian universities. He was also recently honoured with the Center of Excellence Award from Tamil Nadu's Minister of Information Technology — a recognition of KRCT's institutional achievements.
Message from the Executive Director
"Dr. S. Kuppusamy took up his career in academics out of his passion for the profession — his commitment combined with zeal for success has elevated him to this position."
Dr. Kuppusamy holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics from Erode Arts College, an MBA from Kongu Engineering College, Perundurai, and a Ph.D. in Management from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. He is NET and SLET qualified and an ISO Certification auditor.
Before joining KRCT, he served as Director for MBA & MCA Programs at M.Kumarasamy College of Engineering, and earlier as Lecturer through Professor & Head of the Department of Management Studies at Kongu Arts and Science College, Erode. He has also served on the Board of Studies at Bharathiar University.

From the Principal's desk
Innovative teaching pedagogy on student-centric learning.
With over 28 years in teaching and research, Dr. N. Vasudevan brings both deep technical credibility and a national-policy lens to KRCT's leadership. He has previously served as Principal, Dean and Professor across institutions, and on governmental bodies including the NBA and NAAC.
A specialist in Electronics, Communication and Control Theory, his research interests today extend into Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning for industrial automation, and Neural Networks. Under his stewardship, KRCT pursues outcome-based learning and accreditation excellence with the same rigour as any global research university.
