B.E. / B.Tech (UG)
Pass in 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry — minimum 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ST/BC). Admission via Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) cut-off & counselling.
M.E. / M.Tech (PG)
B.E./B.Tech in relevant discipline — minimum 50% aggregate. Admission via TANCA & GATE score (preferred).
Ph.D. (Doctoral)
M.E./M.Tech in a relevant discipline. Admission through the Anna University research process at KRCT's recognised research centres in Mechanical Engineering & CSE.

Fill the application form at krct.ac.in/apply. Choose programs in order of preference.

Upload Documents
10th & 12th mark sheets, photo, Aadhaar, community certificate (if applicable). Each ≤ 2 MB, PDF/JPG/PNG.

Pay Application Fee
₹500 application fee (waived for SC/ST). UPI / Netbanking / Debit card.

Counselling Call
Eligible candidates invited for TNEA / KRCT spot counselling. Use Counselling Code 3701 to choose KRCT. Bring originals + 2 photocopies.

Allotment & Fee Payment
Branch allotted on the spot. Pay first-instalment fees within 7 days to confirm seat.

Reporting Day
Orientation & reporting at Samayapuram campus in early August 2026.

Is KRCT autonomous? +
Yes. KRCT is a NAAC-accredited autonomous institution affiliated to Anna University, Chennai and approved by AICTE — meaning we design our own curriculum, conduct our own exams & declare results, while degrees are awarded by Anna University.
What's the admission route for B.E. / B.Tech? +
Through Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) based on 12th cut-off — and our own management-quota counselling for the remaining seats. Both routes start with the application on krct.ac.in.
Is hostel accommodation available? +
Yes — separate hostels for boys & girls inside the campus. Includes Wi-Fi, mess, indoor games, gym & 24×7 security. Hostel applications open after seat allotment.
