IPR Cell Crosses 241 Patents Granted

KRCT's IPR & IPM Cell has crossed 241 granted patents (out of 550 published) across 2017–2026, alongside 64 copyrights and 120 industrial designs.

# 241 patents granted\n\nThe Intellectual Property Management Cell at KRCT, established in 2017 by Chairman Dr. K. Ramakrishnan, has crossed the **241 patents granted** milestone. The cell currently has 762 IP filings on record across utility patents, international patents, copyrights and industrial designs.\n\nA State-Level IPR Workshop, inaugurated by TNSCST, was held in March 2024 to mentor faculty across the Trichy region on IP filing best practices.
